Hello Everyone - many of you know me, but for those of you who don't, here goes:- My name is Paul Michetti, I am a native of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. I run my own carpentry business on the island, where I have lived my entire life. I am also a self-taught artist, with no formal training. My art is primarily acrylic, though I do pencil drawings as well. After years of family & friends telling me to do more with my art i have finally listened and setup this website to sell my work. This includes originals and prints. I love Nantucket and nature, as many of my paintings convey, including hunting and fishing scenes, with more to come...... My work has been sold on Nantucket at the Four Winds Craft Guild, and to many of my friends & acquaintances. I enjoy doing work on consignment, some of which have included portraits of the family dog, moon-light scenes of a memorable family home or camp, or a particular sailboat gliding over a favorite piece of water. Samples of some of these ideas are included on the website in the gallery section. the site will be updated on a regular basis so check-in once in a while!
